Tubing forms - sign and return - pay through cash online  Jump Math 8.2 pg 71 - 73  French Quiz on Tuesday  History assignment on immigration due Tuesday - must be a write up on a google doc Science - bring in materials for pneumatic toy - we will begin building on Weds.  Lit Circles - 4 groups needs to complete on Monday - their 2nd meeting                     final meeting by Feb. 1st  Bingo Night is Feb. 22nd - this is a grade 8 fundraiser - family members are all welcome - to date, we have 4 TFC tickets, 4 Raptors ticket, a week of camp courtesy of King tournship, gift certificates from Nobleton restaruants - more details to follow.

Jan 17th  Health - eating disorder research assignment - due Jan 25th, but can be handed in earlier - slideshow, pamphlet, or poster  Pizza making tomorrow - bring in any toppings you would like for your cheese pizza - toppings must be cut up at home and brought in a plastic container - students are asked to bring in $5 to help cover the cost of dough, sauce, and cheese

Literacy - completed in class writing assignment on winter holidays  - next novel has been assigned. Lit Circle meetings will be Jan 17th, 24th, and 31st. History lecture today on Canada at the turn of the 19th century - we will finish the lecture tomorrow - there will be a multiple choice test next week - date to be determined Math - finish crossword on vocabulary to date  - finish worksheet on distributive property and collecting like terms - there will be a quiz on that next week  Grade 8's are making pizza on Friday - Students are asked to bring in $5 to cover the cost of dough, sauce, and cheese. Thursdays are plaza days for the 8's this month.
