8A Homework

Thank you to everyone for their support with the Terry Fox run. It was a perfect day. Thank you to the tech team for supplying the music. Math quiz was returned today. Parent signatures are needed by Thursday.  Page one of the diagnostic requires a parent signature and needs to be returned. These are already pass due.  Literacy - we are researching and preparing posters for Truth and Reconciliation Day on Sat. These are due by Friday.  Science: finish labelling the diagram of a compound microscope. Complete the crossword - this is review of unit vocabulary. There will be a test next week.  Terry Fox summary paragraph was due today. A number of students did not submit.  Our first snack shack is tomorrow.   Bring in a lock for your locker by Monday. Bring in deodorant to keep in your locker.  From Monday, all cell phones, headphones, and earbuds will need to stay in your locker. Math - data management - vocabulary: primary, secondary data, survey, population, tally/frequency chart, mean, median, mode, range Literacy: began writing and reading diagnostic today. Will complete both by the end of the week.  Science: introduction to unit on cells.  Health: began unit on 'making good choices" and the Circle Program.  School assembly tomorrow
