Diagnostic test results for reading, writing, and math were sent home today. Please sign and return the front page only.

Math test on Thursday - stem and leaf plot, circle graph, histogram, measures of central tendency

                 - pg.284 in the textbook - Practice Question only - handout for histogram and measures 

                   of central tendencies 

Cold Creek trip tomorrow - dress to be outside for the day - it will be cool in the morning so bring a sweater. Bring snacks, water, and lunch. Sun screen is recommended.

Literacy - we are working on summaries - summarize the text on Terry Fox

Health - took up Circle Program - completed goal sheet for grade 8

Poetry - memorize and recite - there are 12 poems - 7 is the minimum to be completed

Meet the Teacher on Thursday - from 5:30 to 7. The classroom will be open.

  Trip to King High School on Weds. - permission must be given through cash online Hallowe'en Dance and Snack Shack tomorrow - wear a costume or orange and black, if you like.  Sign and return health quiz - was due last week History quiz on Thursday for those who have been away - study guide was provided and also posted on google classroom Science - watch the videos posted on google classroom and answer the questions provided in class - some people finished in class - for the rest, it is homework - due Friday Math - will begin integers this week Hit and Run novel was due last week - a number of students haven't completed - must hand in the noevel and question booklet before taking the final test The second novel is Truth and Lies - there is a novel study assignement and a mutiple choice test due at the end - due date has not been decided Grad photos have been moved the Nov. 16th  Plaza lunch is Thursday for the month of Nov.
