 Math quiz was completed today. Will be returned tomorrow - a signature will be needed.

Math quiz from 2 weeks ago needs to be signed and returned. 

Health quiz next Thursday - Maslow's Pyramid, Circle program, classroom rules and norms of behaviour, de-escalation strategies, contingency plans, friendship survey and info from TLC article. 

Poetry - tomorrow is the last day to recite. 7 poems are a minimum. Those who haven't completed 7 will have to do that during recess or lunch. 

Novel study - Hit and Run - must be completed by Oct. 27th. Questions to answer as you read and 2 quizzes - 1 after chapter 7 and 1 at the end. You can complete earlier and move onto the 2nd novel in the series. Everyone will complete the first 3 novels of the series. 

Tomorrow is the the first plaza day for grade 8's. The math quiz from 2 weeks must be handed in to go. 

Science quiz was returned on Tuesday. Must be signed and returned. 

7/8 vaccination program on Monday.

We are painting on Monday - dress for that (don't wear your best and favourite) 

Snack Shack on Oct. 18th. 

PA day on Oct. 20th.

  Trip to King High School on Weds. - permission must be given through cash online Hallowe'en Dance and Snack Shack tomorrow - wear a costume or orange and black, if you like.  Sign and return health quiz - was due last week History quiz on Thursday for those who have been away - study guide was provided and also posted on google classroom Science - watch the videos posted on google classroom and answer the questions provided in class - some people finished in class - for the rest, it is homework - due Friday Math - will begin integers this week Hit and Run novel was due last week - a number of students haven't completed - must hand in the noevel and question booklet before taking the final test The second novel is Truth and Lies - there is a novel study assignement and a mutiple choice test due at the end - due date has not been decided Grad photos have been moved the Nov. 16th  Plaza lunch is Thursday for the month of Nov.
