Paint class tomorrow - don't wear your favourite clothes.  

Math - fractions - multiply, divide, subtract, add, simple fractions and mixed numbers. Reciprocals, mixed numbers to improper fractions - finish yesterday's handout. Handout on converting fractions, deciamls, percents and reciprocals. 

Math quiz - Oct. 12th  

Science - reading comprehension on blood and brains - due next class. 

Literacy - memorize and recite poetry - must complete 7 - due Oct. 13th

- Non - fiction summary - read the text - write a summary - record facts on a sheet before writing your summary - important sections of the text must be covered - assignment posted on google classroom - due Tuesday - no later. 

Music Assignment - due Oct. 11th 

Cross Country Running Team out for competition Oct. 11th 

Picture Day is Thursday Oct. 12th 

Plaza letter has been sent home. Grade 8 plaza days will begin on the 13th - permission must be given through cash online.

SCHOOL COUNCIL FUNDRAISER - PIZZA IS BEING SOLD - ORDERS CAN BE MADE THROUGH CASH ONLINE OR ORDERS CAN BE SENT IN WITH A CHEQUE.

  Trip to King High School on Weds. - permission must be given through cash online Hallowe'en Dance and Snack Shack tomorrow - wear a costume or orange and black, if you like.  Sign and return health quiz - was due last week History quiz on Thursday for those who have been away - study guide was provided and also posted on google classroom Science - watch the videos posted on google classroom and answer the questions provided in class - some people finished in class - for the rest, it is homework - due Friday Math - will begin integers this week Hit and Run novel was due last week - a number of students haven't completed - must hand in the noevel and question booklet before taking the final test The second novel is Truth and Lies - there is a novel study assignement and a mutiple choice test due at the end - due date has not been decided Grad photos have been moved the Nov. 16th  Plaza lunch is Thursday for the month of Nov.
