 Math quiz tomorrow - volume and surface area of a cube, cylinder, triangular prism and rectangular prism - practice sheets and formula sheet have been provided - full review today

Drama - final presentations today on March Break skits

Literacy - 2 poems given today - What is Orange? and What is Black? - memorize and recite before April 10th 

               - write your own colour poem: What is...? use the two poems provided to guide you in      

                 writing your own poem - you cannot use the colour orange or black 

Visual Arts - finish Group of 7 pastel art - most were completed today - rubric returned today

STEAM (aka Art's Night) - April 18th - letter set home - our class is doing a coffee and tea theme for our gift basket - if you are able to make a donation, please bring in by April 10th 

           - there will also be a used book and puzzle sales - donations are appreciated 

Class novels are missing - please return

Science - reviewed concepts of water from grade 7 science and from our unit on fluids

              - began the write up for a science lab - we will complete tomorrow and lab will be handed

                in on Thursday. 

Ottawa Trip forms are due Thursday - cash online for the deposit - final price will be determined once we have final student numbers

  Trip to King High School on Weds. - permission must be given through cash online Hallowe'en Dance and Snack Shack tomorrow - wear a costume or orange and black, if you like.  Sign and return health quiz - was due last week History quiz on Thursday for those who have been away - study guide was provided and also posted on google classroom Science - watch the videos posted on google classroom and answer the questions provided in class - some people finished in class - for the rest, it is homework - due Friday Math - will begin integers this week Hit and Run novel was due last week - a number of students haven't completed - must hand in the noevel and question booklet before taking the final test The second novel is Truth and Lies - there is a novel study assignement and a mutiple choice test due at the end - due date has not been decided Grad photos have been moved the Nov. 16th  Plaza lunch is Thursday for the month of Nov.
