April 15th

 Math - plotting linear equations on a cartesian plane 

                examples: plot ordered pairs for y = 2x or y = x + 3 

Literacy - introduced speeches - select a topic and begin rough notes 

       - memorize and recite 2 poems What is Orange? What is Black? - 3 students have completed 

Science - there will be a test on the Water unit - April 30th - a study guide will be provided - review if you have time

Visual Arts - painting spring flowers - these will be on display at STEAM Night

Snack Shack on Weds. 

Health Pamphlet - research on a legal or illegal drug in Canada - due date to be determined 

STEAM Night on Thursday April 18th - the classroom will be open

                  - Gift Baskets - tickets are 1 for $2, 3 for $5.

                 - there will be a used books and puzzle sale at STEAM Night 

Music Video due April 26th

Oct. 30th

  Trip to King High School on Weds. - permission must be given through cash online Hallowe'en Dance and Snack Shack tomorrow - wear a costume or orange and black, if you like.  Sign and return health quiz - was due last week History quiz on Thursday for those who have been away - study guide was provided and also posted on google classroom Science - watch the videos posted on google classroom and answer the questions provided in class - some people finished in class - for the rest, it is homework - due Friday Math - will begin integers this week Hit and Run novel was due last week - a number of students haven't completed - must hand in the noevel and question booklet before taking the final test The second novel is Truth and Lies - there is a novel study assignement and a mutiple choice test due at the end - due date has not been decided Grad photos have been moved the Nov. 16th  Plaza lunch is Thursday for the month of Nov.
