 Geometry math unit - coordinates, translations, rotations, and reflections - Jump Math 8.1 from pg 197

Literacy - introduced speeches - try to select a topic by the end of the week 

             - memorize and recite 2 poems What is Orange? What is Black? - choose a different 

        colour and write a poem What is...?  Follow the format of Orange and Black - due April 12th 

        - finish non-fiction response to Water booklets - 2 are due

       - finish Canada Trivia part 4 - Weds

Geo - finish watching Settlement Patterns video and answer questions - due Weds. 

Science - videos posted on google classroom - due Weds


Health - Drug Use and Misuse assignment - pamphlet - due date will be determined later - begin research - record point form notes

Music Video - due April 26th 

WE ARE COLLECTING DONATIONS FOR A COFFEE/TEA BASKET TO BE RAFFLED OFF AT STEAM NIGHT ON APRIL 18TH - WOULD LIKE TO PREPARE THE BASKET ON FRIDAY!

Oct. 30th

  Trip to King High School on Weds. - permission must be given through cash online Hallowe'en Dance and Snack Shack tomorrow - wear a costume or orange and black, if you like.  Sign and return health quiz - was due last week History quiz on Thursday for those who have been away - study guide was provided and also posted on google classroom Science - watch the videos posted on google classroom and answer the questions provided in class - some people finished in class - for the rest, it is homework - due Friday Math - will begin integers this week Hit and Run novel was due last week - a number of students haven't completed - must hand in the noevel and question booklet before taking the final test The second novel is Truth and Lies - there is a novel study assignement and a mutiple choice test due at the end - due date has not been decided Grad photos have been moved the Nov. 16th  Plaza lunch is Thursday for the month of Nov.
